FDA-approved soft tissue fillers are injected into the skin to lift the lip, wrinkles or folds. The filler can also be used to treat deep smile lines, pox marks and acne scars.

The Effect

The Procedure

Soft-tissue fillers are used primarily to fill wrinkles, lines and scars on the face and sometimes the neck, back and chest. It is injected using a fine needle inserted at several points along the edge of the treatment site.

Best Candidates for Filler Injections

Works best on thin, dry, light-colored skin, however the best candidates include those: - With scarring, sagging or wrinkling on the face - Missing some of the youthful plumpness or high contours on the face - In good physical health - Psychologically stable - Realistic in their expectations
