Dr. Martin Anthony A. Villa completed his training in Vascular Surgery at
The University of Texas - Houston Health Science Center in the United States. Among other sub-specialty vascular techniques, he was trained to manage varicose veins as an outpatient procedure using a variety of techniques including the use of state-of-the-art endovenous ablation by laser or radiofrequency, ambulatory micro-phlebectomy and sclerotherapy. These techniques are done as office based procedures under local anesthesia. Prior to this, he trained in general surgery and organ transplantation at the St. Luke¹s Medical Center and the University of Texas Houston respectively. His research papers have been published in prestigious international journals such as the Journal of Vascular Surgery, Annals of Vascular Surgery and the Annals of Thoracic Surgery.
